Why the NHL is not as good as it used to be

By Jim NillPublished Apr 04, 2018 02:27:20If you thought the NHL was struggling to stay relevant with the likes of the NHL.com and NHL.ca being unavailable, you are wrong.

According to the NHL’s website, the league has been the most popular sport in North America since its launch in 1995, and has seen its online sales soar since that time.

However, the NHL has also been the subject of a number of controversies and lawsuits in recent years.

One of the most recent, in 2015, saw the league fined $2.6 million by the NHLPA for failing to follow the NHL Players’ Association’s recommendations regarding the treatment of concussions.

The league was also hit with lawsuits from fans for not doing enough to prevent the deaths of a player in an accidental fall.
