The Philippines has become the first country to run its own mobile gaming platform, The Philippine Times reported on Tuesday.
The gaming app was launched on Sunday, and the Philippines has yet to have a full launch of the mobile gaming service, the paper reported.
Users can play video games on their phones or tablets using their Android devices and tablets, as well as on computers running Microsoft Windows or Apple iOS.
The app has already attracted over 6 million users.
The Philippines is the third country to adopt the game platform, after India and Vietnam.
The service was launched by the Philippines National Institute of Technology and the National Institute for Technology and Communications.
It was developed by the Philippine Ministry of Education and Science and the Philippine Institute of Computing.
