The online gaming market has exploded in recent years, with a number of major online services offering online games, ranging from popular titles like Farmville to games that are not so popular, like the hugely popular Plants vs. Zombies series.

It’s worth considering which of these games are actually online, as there is a lot to decide about when you’re playing.

The online games listed below were created by a number (some say thousands) of developers and publishers, and the vast majority are not available online.

In a recent report, New Scientist looked at what kinds of games were playing online, and what the average player spent on each game, as well as how the games are playing on a day-to-day basis.

The report found that, although the popularity of games online is growing, it’s not always the case.

There are a number online games that players do not play online, but still keep on playing on their own.
